• Section 1: Sarah Point to Malaspina Road (0 km to 21.3 km)

• Section 2: Malaspina Road to Powell Lake (21.3 km to 50.2 km)

• Section 3: Powell Lake to Fiddlehead (50.2 km to 81.4 km)

• Section 4: Fiddlehead to Eagle River (81.4 km to 135.7 km)

• Section 5: Eagle River to Saltery Bay (135.7 km to 178 km)

Please note that Section 4 and 5 offer the most mountainous conditions and are for experienced hikers only. Guides are no longer recommended provided the hiker has obtained sufficient information at the Visitors Bureau, or bought the indispensable trail guide book entitled: The Sunshine Coast Trail and the new Visitors Bureau Map.
