Difficulty: Challenging, the trail is still rough in stretches with large elevation gains and losses. Some VERY STEEP sections.

- Mountain top views of Powell River's backcountry and
oceans. Sub-alpine hike with old growth forest, varied vegetation,
lots of wildlife, and glorious swimming in isolated lakes. For the
berry pickers, there's an abundant choice of blueberries and
mushrooms in the late summer.

- 360 degree views of more than two dozen lakes, many mountain ranges and the Straits.
- A must see trip for visitors to Powell River - preferably on a day with visibility.
